I used to run a server for a small group of people off of an old laptop I kept online 24/7 in the basement, and didn’t run into performance issues unless I forgot to do a weekly, or sometimes twice-weekly) power cycle. Things were always stable, and there were rarely latency problems. Granted, no more than like 7 people were ever connected at a time and the game wasn’t modded, so I’m not sure how relevant my anecdote is.

In any case, I’ll be sure to check the server out! I’ve been meaning to get back into the game, and I have a hard time investing in single player worlds.
