So I have a group of friends that are taking me to the MN Ren Fest this coming weekend and they mentioned I should try to suit up… Now I’ve never tried to suit outside of conventions so I don’t know the response I’ll get from Tinker or if there’s anything I need to do before getting to the site itself. (Do I need to get the ok from them sort of thing) SO What I’m asking really is; Has anyone suited at MN Ren Fest and is there anything I should know ahead of time?

Drink a ton of water the day before your going to need it , take off your head at the ticket booth so thay see your face .other than that have fun , suited last year was a good time
What I will say is I’ve never seen anyone suit there. Closest I’ve seen is the one Satyr who walks around but I’m 98% certain he’s a paid entertainer there though I could be wrong. My biggest fear for suiting there is that it’s a notoriously dirty place. Dry days are dust bowls and wet days are claynado.

- Mark TwainI’ve seen fursuiters there, and yes it’s either going to be very dusty, very muddy, or both. Prepare to clean your suit when you’re done.Well with Tinker being a dirty rat I’m sure it will help add to whatever pieces that get dirty but I was planing on having one person with a camelback with water. I’ve seen Fireflicker there but I’m sure she’s a paid performer but I’ve never seen suiters outside of the paid bracket so that’s where my questions lied. But I plan on having a handler have my id and someone carrying water for me.And a big thank you to Unico, for messaging me to talk things through somethings. Thanks to all of you replied as well!
Well if you happen to see someone dressed as a black mage with a 2 foot tall leather hat wandering around, stop by and say hi 😛"The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."
