Poem dedicated to furries everywhere. This was a random inspiration I had this morning when driving to work. Listening to a couple songs I like and then this poem idea came to mind.

We are a generation that’s on its own
Some of us veterans in the community
These are the wise that become leaders
They help shape us into a bigger society
We are not a pack, but one big family
We take in new ones with no negativity
Provide education about us as they listen
Responding well, we shape them positively
There are some who simply do not like
They do not understand what we represent
They grow to feel dislike which grows to hate
Hate is a strong word, why not be content?
We are a society of figures known as furries
We look after one another with full respect
The new ones become leaders in the future
We welcome all with open arms and we accept
