I would like to go down to go to TFF but I definitely couldn’t do it alone XD Anyone else trying to get down there via car?I don’t think that anyone here is going to drive to TFF. Unless you aren’t aware, considering the great distance between Minnesota and Texas, it would take more than a day to drive there. Even if you didn’t take many stops it would take almost an entire day still. Hell, I’m betting it would take closer to two days to get there. So while it’s not impossible, I find it very unlikely that anyone will be driving there.Drove it last year with a friend. It’s only about 16 hours or so. Sadly not going this year. But yeah, there are some people who do drive it once in a while. Haven’t heard of any this year. Everyone I know that is going from up here is flying. Hope ya find someone. Great con if you’ve never been to it before. Also new hotel this year for that con. Another Hyatt. The con is in downtown Dallas though, which also means everything gets more expensive.

I used to live down that way, still a five hour drive to the con, but then I moved up there. That drive took me around 24 hours to do, not counting rest. So, you’re still looking at about 16 to 19 hours of driving. Flying would be your safest bet.
I fly down to Houston every year for Anime Matsuri, and it’s definitely the way to go. Flights from MN to Dallas are usually very cheap, and then you have half a day still in Texas on your travel days. I love driving, but I’ll fly any chance I can for the convenience.Andrew -Â https://atomik.smugmug.com/
