April Picnic Lunch Get Together

Join Ridayah and come hang out at the first regular outdoor picnic get-togethers! This is a small bring-your-own-lunch outdoor hangout, for walks, talking, playing games, whatever you want!

This event is weather permitting – if ill weather the event will be cancelled.

This picnic lunch will take place at Central Park in Roseville. We will meet at the picnic shelter near the amphitheater, the best parking is just off Lexington Avenue. Hope to see you there!

Date: Saturday April 18th
Time: 11 am to 5:00 pm
Location: Central Park; 2564 Lexington Ave N, Roseville MN Map
Food: BYOF. This is NOT Pot Luck like the Annual Spring Picnic and is aimed at just getting out and enjoying the weather.
Cost: FREE
Fursuit Friendly?: YES, this is a Public Park. Fursuits are welcome but please be respectful.
Notes: We do not have a reservation like the Official MNFurs Spring Picnic. The picnic spot at Roseville Central Park may change if another group has our meeting site reserved. The park has many other open tables for picnicking at around the park grounds if we need to re-locate.

Aww yiss. I plan on going, and it’ll be my first fursuit outting! It’s literally like 3 blocks from my sisters house, so my 2 year old niece will most likely tag along. I know she’ll love that as much as I will! o 0 o

I realize that this now conflicts with another obligation of mine at the same time; however I’ve already obligated rides to two other people to attend this before I realized this. I will be there (With +1 or +2) and handle the conflict online.

Sadly, we have the FM concom meeting that day.  So I know a fair chunk of people will either have to leave very early, including myself.   I’ll still show up and help set up, just can’t stay and enjoy.

But the weather was so nice today.  With that in mind, I really want to get out and enjoy so i think I’ll go over to Columbia Heights Park Friday evening at around 5-6 if this works better for some people.

Unfortunately I don’t know where that location is so I’m sticking with Saturday to Fursuit and have a picnic.
