Artist geek returning to MN next year

Hey guys. I remember when MNFurs was an inactive forum years ago. I’m so glad this place is really getting a nice community going.

About me: I’m a webcomic artist. I’ve been living in Norfolk these past four years and I’m so glad to be returning to Minnesota spring 2016. I want to partcipate in the MN conventions again. I’m in the process of convincing a friend that’s been part of the fandom for years to go to Furry Migration 2015 with me.

I’m an old pro at the anime convention scene. Been to more cons then I remember. For furry conventions, I’ve only been to Midwest Furfest 2011 and Anthrocon 2015, but from what I’ve seen I love it and can’t wait to see more Fur cons. Expect to see more of me next year.

Howdy, and future welcome to MN! What all anime cons have you been to? I frequented Oni-Con when I lived in Texas, and this will be my first, but certainly not the last, time at a furry convention. Perhaps we’ll bump into each other at the con!

Well I grew up in Coon Rapids and New Hope Minnesota. So I’ve been to many of the MN comic and anime cons (AnimeDetour is one of my personal favorites. I was going there since it started.).

I joined the Navy four years ago. I was able to go to a couple cons there (AnimeMidAtlantic and Nekocon.) And so after my time up I’m coming back home. 8::)

Sadly I won’t be able to go to anymore fall and winter cons if Furry Migration doesn’t work 0ut ,but… The summer cons show promise.

I’ve heard lots of interesting things about the base in Norfolk while I spent my time in the Navy, though most of my time was in Great Lakes (Great Mistakes for you military folks).

Here’s to hoping the con will be a good one, for I’m looking to attend many more in the near future.
