As the new Volunteers Head, I wants a few good furries!

OK, in case you are wondering who I am and how I became Volunteer Head. My human name is Jeann Marie Buckbee and my furry persona is Lady Amethyst – a grey Russian Grey with a bit of an attitude. 😉 Favorite color is most shades of purple/lavender.

I was brought into the fandom by my son who did some photography for several different conventions and finally landed with MNFurs. I was drawn into the appealing, huggable, stuffed-animal personae by his pictures. Eventually, he invited me to a picnic and I have been hooked! I love to give and receive hugs. Even though I am probably the oldest member of our fandom I have been welcomed and “educated” in the ways of Furries, Bronies, various games, and other aspects of the fandom.

I love to make new friends and help in any way I can.  Looking forward to meeting each of you!

Will see about that. But I don’t know. I know several people in the fandom (I say fandom as in worldwide btw) that are much older. You’re a youngin’ by comparison. =)
