I’ve lived in MN for at least ten years now and haven’t said hello, the title is my excuse haha.

Mostly active on the discord but thought I’d say hello here too!

A little bit about me:

• Long-term goal is to start my own indie game dev shop
• I work with startups doing techie things professionally, such as organizing how companies run operations and engineering
• I’m currently trying to expand my social network and get to know some folks after some of the hardest years of my life
• I normally am a fitness enthusiast, looking to get back into that after said years kicked my butt (Health hasn’t been the best)
• I’m a veteran
• I will encourage you to tackle things way beyond what you think you are capable of, because there’s hidden potential in a lot of people

I’m a big fan of Sandbox style games where there’s no real ‘overarching’ story other than the one you create, and many systems that can create interesting results when mixed together; an example being Dwarf Fortress.

Also a big fan of D&D and Dragon lore in particular, so working with Dragons and Kobolds sounds really fun. 🙂

Up until now I’ve mostly just created assets to sell to other game developers in my spare time and I’ve ran several hobby projects that are incomplete (as one does in gamedev) but I’m hoping I’ll be financially secure enough in the long term to focus on it.
