Hello! I am KnightRider and I am an ambitious individual that loves to help in any way I can. Just ask! I am a young adult that keeps striving for more and a lot of ideas to share! I believe in sharing love and listening to others. I am currently in school for a Human Biology degree and will be attending a surgical assistant program with Mayo Clinic in 2026. I otherwise enjoy a multitude of things from building and crafting all the way to backpacking and film photography.

I was driven into the furry community by: Creativity, Connection, and Expression. You cannot
have one without the other as they build off each other beautifully. The community has been very loving
and accepting with many different people with broad to niche hobbies. You will find someone you can
connect with. I love how people can find other people and express themselves with creativity. I would
largely blame the 2008 film: Fantastic Mr. Fox as I would watch it over and over as a kid and
anthropomorphic animals have stuck with me ever since. Why is it always a fox?

I will continue my volunteering as if it was normal. I have been working on stuff behind the
scenes that is more than asked of me and I will continue to go above and beyond.

I see Furry Migration and Midwinter Frolic as major identity markers of the MNFurs community
and how we are representing ourselves to the world. We are not any other major furry event. We are
MNFurs. These events will continue to grow, and I am proud of that, and we need to adjust to the
increasing amount of interest. It will continue to be the identity of our community in Minnesota, and it is
best to let it grow and blossom to develop our community further.

The strengths I offer are that I like to think outside of the box; and the more fun way is to think
inside of the box. When you’re limited or restricted by something? You must be awfully creative to work
around the problem, and that can be fun. I love the process of getting from point A to B. I also have strong
beliefs in community development and personal growth. I work as a Resident Advisor on my campus, and
I run and host events. I mediate any conflicts and check in with residents to make sure everyone feels
secure and cared for as an individual. My strengths are the willingness to go through processes, building
connections, and thoughtfulness. I pride myself on the work that has taken place and strive for more.

Events and public image are what I would like to primarily work on. Primarily working on public
image and events at the same time. I would like to create connections and promote missions of an
educational non-profit organization. I plan to do this with partnership with other organizations or home-
brewed events. Focusing on sustainability and assisting of others. For example, we can partner with
another organization to go plant trees for the state of Minnesota. Caring for our environment and helping
the fuzzballs out in nature. We must keep our eyes open and look for opportunities we can utilize.

Once more public service events become more available as well as the leisure of fursuit romps:
MNFurs should hopefully be more so in the eye of the public. With the public image increased and spread
of the positive image of MNFurs, we can grow, develop further, and support ourselves more. Within
following our mission and working on public image, we can increase the likelihood of receiving funding
from other organizations or corporations. This funding furthermore developing our organization and
promotes more to offer to our members and to the state of Minnesota.

Primarily I would like to listen to feedback from the community and adapt it to the needs of the
people. I would like to listen to what people would like to improve and I would like to be the one to make
these things happen as best I can. Making events fun, yet also making them educational. I do not see
myself doing this alone, I would like to not experience burning out quite yet! This is where I would like to
ask fellow members for assistance and to communicate and be honest with each other.
I love this community, and I want to see it grow. I cannot promise anything, but I will try my
    best.

Thank you all for considering me for this position. I can thank the ones that inspired me.
