– HELLO EVERYONE! –
Hey there, your friendly and busy Events fox here! Events are the activities that give our community members something to do and are also a driving part of the community. The more events that are being hosted, the workload starts to add up and there are points where some additional assistance is necessary and needed. For these staff positions I am looking for individuals with relatively open schedules and is willing to travel in and around the metro. No out of town traveling should be necessary.
I will be looking for individuals who are are willing to assist me in researching venues around the cities and areas not too far out of the 494/694 loop. Types of events include movie nights, food gatherings, bowling, roller skating, fursuit romps, and many more…Maybe you have an idea of something never being done before and we have a venue to try it in. Event researching also includes visiting researched venues and talking to any staff/management there. Other conversations may include setting up date and time frames and event costs. Research may also include looking at areas in other locations outside the 494/694 loop. Examples of this include Mankato, Rochester, Duluth, & other areas if requested.
Individuals will also be responsible for working with other event runners. Responsibilities include assisting with event submissions if the event runner needs advice. You may be asked to help co-head an event if the main event runner requests or requires it. There may be additional responsibilities as well upon request from the event runner or the Board of Directors.
