Life moves fast like a freight train
Sometimes it does not slow down
It catches us by surprise in time
Turning a great smile to a frown
Life can knock the wind out of us
Landing us flat on our backs
We recover and get our bearings
We get up and retrace our tracks
Life is a journey with twists and turns
It can spin fast making us dizzy
It can cause great disorientation
Yet we move on and stay busy
No matter what our lives have to offer
Always know we will make it through
Take my hand and let’s do it together
Everything will be okay because I love you
