– Fall Events Discussion –

– HEY THERE! –

 

Hey there, your friendly Events once again hehe.  With the temperatures slowly cooling down we know that Fall is around the corner…Let’s talk about some Fall events that are coming up and ones that are on the docket for planning.

 

* * * * * * * * * *

October 1 is the CRISPR Dinner Gathering with Lunos and October 5 is Tsudo Dog’s Pho Night which will both be a lot of fun.

There is going to be another dinner gathering on the 15th and there will be an official announcement and forum post on that soon!

This brings us to the end of October which is ZooBoo and I know many are looking forward to that (as am I)

For November I am planning on doing a fursuit romp as well as starting up community bowling again.  For bowling I am wanting to try a new bowling venue, but if that cannot be arranged right away I will host at the Super Bowl in Ramsey.  For the fursuit romp that will hopefully be at a park mentioned to me from other community members.

I made a previous thread about discussing a Thanksgiving event…That is a big IF right now as I am looking for a new volunteer or 2 to run this.  I will assist too of course, but my main focus is the Holiday Party.

I don’t know where most people travel from. As far as bowling lanes, any I know are all southside of the Twin Cities, such as the AMF Southtown Bowling Lanes, Bloomington (off American Blvd). There is also the SkyDeck at Mall of America. Both locations I really like personally, although the SkyDeck has a very limited number of lanes, it does sport an arcade, bar, and food – plus it’s at MoA.

Just my two cents since you mentioned wanting to consider a different bowling location.

I have no idea how these compare to costs of the other lanes or if they allow large groups without special reservation fees.
