Fargo Furry Weekend @ Corecon

Hey all,

 

Just wanted to post here about the big party we’re going to be throwing up in Fargo this June during our local large sci-fi (and furry friendly!) convention, Corecon. We’re calling it Fargo Furry Weekend @ Corecon and we’ll be doing several events both at the con and around the local area. I am going to be focusing on the consuite while the Red River Valley Furs group hosts offsite furry bowling and a picnic. I think it’ll be a great time and offer quite a bit of excitement for all who attend! (Only 3.5 hours away, and it’s an easy drive… trust me I do it a lot!)

I know some others who go to Corecon from other fandoms.  Corecon is a great little “everyfan” con similar to one Snap and I go to in Omaha called OsFest.

It is definitely fur friendly convention but be aware you will be bumping elbows with anime, gaming and science fiction fans.  But if are like me, i.e. you like it all,  it feels like a buffet of fun.

If you want more than just Migration on you schedule and Osfest seems too far to drive,  this is highly recommended!

I will, more than likely, attend Core Con ’15. Originally from Southern MN (but currently living in TRF since October), I’m  both surprise and excited that there are conventions up in this neck of the woods. I’ve been a Con-goer since ’04 and I can’t wait to attend new conventions!
