To embed a YouTube video in a forum post is quiet simple.
Step One: find a good YouTube video. This is the hardest step.
Step Two: copy the “Share” link from the page. The link look something like this https://youtu.be/g9lmhBYB11U. You can use the link in the browser… most of the time… it will work but if you want to make sure it works use the link provided in the share area.
Step Three: paste the link with ctrl-v/apple-v/holding hard your finger.
DO NOT USE THE LINK BUTTON ON THE MENU. Just ignore it.
Make sure the video is on it’s own separate line. It should just show the video link. It should not be clickable. If it’s clickable it won’t embed the video.Step 4: enjoy.
