– HEY THERE! –
Hey there! Every month we have a big fursuit bowling event and is open for everyone to attend from suiters to non-suiters. We always rotate between two venues every month…One is Tuttle’s (Hopkins) and the other is the Super Bowl (Ramsey). I am a strong believer in researching and testing new venues that come up so we have a bigger radar. I have already received some suggestions in the past such as Andover Lanes (Andover) and a place in Apple Valley (suggested by Sike) though I cannot remember the name off hand.
This is where you, the community, comes into play as I have some questions below.
1. Do you know of a bowling venue that we can research?
2. Do you know if it’s costume performing (fursuit) friendly?
3. Is it big enough to house a bunch of us?
Anyone’s input here will be greatly appreciated! 🙂
Thank you!

I know it’s a bit of a drive for most of you, but River City Extreme in Monticello (right near my house) has a large VIP area that can be reserved for groups that is separate from the rest of the alley that’ll easily hold our group with room to spare. It has 8 lanes, tables, chairs, and food/drinks can be delivered to it. They also have a large arcade with lots of games (laser tag!). I’m not sure how suit friendly they would be outside the private area (aka arcade) and not sure on a changing area, but I think it would be good to look into.-

Weve talked about Apple Place in Apple Valley before. Its near a few bars (and houses one itself) but its fairly large. Theres also a Brunswick XL in Lakeville right off 35. I’ve hosted an event or two there before, but never with fursuits.Wut o.o

Not gonna lie here. Having worked briefly around Apple Place (and the bar there.) It’s probably not ideal. I seriously doubt they’ll permit fursuits there. Plus to be honest, their lanes are some of the least well kept lanes around this area. I think as it stands you’re best off with Tuttle’s or the Ramsey Superbowl for fursuit bowling. Otherwise Brunswick in Lakeville is good if you can be content without suiting since they have options for other things besides bowling. Just my two cents.Sike – I may inquire with Brunswick about fursuits sometime, but in one of the near future bowling events.Innouva – This is good to know as I am not familiar with that bowling alley.

Mind you, I don’t just say Brunswick over Apple Place out of personal hatred (there is that too), but Brunswick is a much newer facility with a lot more to do besides just bowling if people desire. Since some of us (on the rare occasion I show up) aren’t necessarily into bowling itself but still wouldn’t mind supporting a venue.– HEY THERE! –Hello everyone! I am going to be doing something else in the scheduling of each monthly fursuit bowling. Most of this stems from my other discussion thread about Saturday versus Sunday events. As of right now we switch between Ramsey’s Super Bowl and Hopkins’ Tuttle’s Bowling. I have decided to start doing Tuttle’s on Sundays and the Super Bowl on Saturday. Why am I doing this? Because it offers community members a chance to make it to one of these as some cannot make it out Saturday night for various reasons where Sunday is a better option and vice versa.
If anyone has any questions/concerns about this, feel free to post here!
I know some of you have given me suggestions in the past as well for other bowling alleys to try. I have not forgotten about this, just have not had the bandwidth to visit these places yet.
