Fursuiters: Looking for something to do on Friday Night (4/29)?

I’m in the need for a few Fursuiters for a photo shoot to promote an upcoming event this upcoming Friday.

The shoot itself is free of charge and you don’t need to be going to the Baseball event on the 28th to participate. There may be a small charge for parking which I can help cover some parking costs if needed.

Since I need a smaller group of people, and need those who can tell me for sure that they can show up (no maybes. I need to know who is relatively sure they can make it. Things can come up, I understand.)

I’m not going to put details here other then the shoot is in Downtown Saint Paul, I’m looking for a few Fursuiters ONLY (sorry – this isn’t open to those not helping me out and I have the photography covered). Both Partials and Full suits are fine.

The time you need to be Downtown at the venue is 5pm this Friday the 29th. It will be partially outside though there will be space to change indoors.

If you are available and interested and getting downtown St Paul at 5pm on Friday is not an issue please PM me or e-mail yarrick at mnfurs dot org and I will give you the full details.

We will probably plan to find somewhere to eat for those interested after the shoot.

Would have been able, but neither of my suits are “commissioned suits from professional makers”.  That’s a bit off putting, in my opinion…. Shouldn’t anyone be welcome?  What does having a ‘professional’ suit matter?

Rebel: I thought your suit was comissioned? Or if you are a suit maker and have made suits for others – that would still count. Your suit looks professionally done.

Yes everyone is welcome, I didn’t say it was a requirement. I only said it was preferred as… how do I put it… There is a chance these photos may be used somewhere else for promotional purposes outside of MNFurs.

At risk of looking like a total villain here, I think he means suits that look at least semi-professional or made by someone not of entry level. That being said, most suits are fine most likely.

I can totally see why you’d want better-looking suits for photography purposes, but maybe a better way of ensuring you only get ‘nicer’ suits would be to individually invite people who’s suits you like and otherwise keep the event on the DL-ish. No matter which way you put it, insinuating that you’re ‘excluding’ people because of the way their fursuit looks is always going to come off as sketchy, even if it’s for a purely aesthetic event. Might avoid some hurt feelings/miscommunications.

id of loved to have been in it but i lost my fursuit a long time ago D: it makes me sad i lost it because my exgirlfriend i had at the time though it was well something wrong and burned it

Sadly I won’t be off work until 5:30-6 and then I’d still need time to get changed.  Retail schedule sucks 🙁 🙁 D=
