Hello all,

I’ve been bumming around this site for a couple days now and I figured I should introduce myself. I am Norm. I originally found this site when I was looking to make a Fox McCloud costume for next Halloween. I haven’t really thought about the furry community much, I mean I knew it existed, but I never really explored it. I am intrigued by this community and would like to become apart of it. I am still all sorts of new to it, but I like the “feel” of it so far.

I, myself, am in my late 20’s, live around lake Mille Lacs, work in customer service and have a knack for logistics. I hope to be making money in music in the next couple of years, I just need to find the right people first. Other hobbies and crap include; way too many video games, motocross, paintball, and I’m just starting to get into pepakura armor making. (I’m thinking if I can get a Fox McCloud head made, or if I make one, I’m going to have to do a halo crossover, lol) I am creative but can’t draw to save my life.

I’m sure there is more, but it’s 8am and I think I should get some sleep.

I have seen your name pop in and out here before.  I am glad that you decided to join the community.  You will discover that MNFurs is a fun community to be in.  May take some time finding your niche in the group, but when you do, it is a lot of fun.  There are a lot of cliques in the group, but everyone is accepting.

I have never been to the Mille Lake area, but it looks like a nice area to be in. I am in the Rosemount/Apple Valley area which is also a nice area.

What place of business do you work for as you are in customer service?

Oh yeah…Fox was my inspiration to becoming a fur.  When I first came up with Drake, he was Fox’s brother.  Of course years later, I slowly molded Drake into a separate fursona.  =)

I was also a closet fur ’till I joined MNFurs August of last year.

thanks, I work the weekends so my ability to  attend events will be hit and miss.

I work as a slot tech at a casino. People tend to get mad when they are at a casino and something breaks so it’s my job to fix the problem and make sure the guest leaves the interaction in a positive mood. Not an easy task, but when I’m comfortable in my surroundings I qualify as a professional BS-er.
Mille Lacs is a nice area really quiet lots of space to do stuff… and things. I’ve set up a few events for my close friends and coworkers who don’t have the weekends off. A couple weeks ago we had our annual Oktoberfest. And earlier this summer we watched the walking dead in the middle of a field on an 8′ projector screen I built powers all by generators. Also we play paintball a few times in the summer.

Ah, sounds like a lot of work, but I am sure you are very good at it and you have job security.

I am a Help Desk Administrator going on 7.5 years now for a fabrication plant.  I am the guy you approach when something does not work computer-wise.  XP

Hopefully you have a free weekend sometime and you can swing down to the metro for a meet or an event.  =)
