Hello MNFurs!
I found this site on a whim actually because I have been starting to get fascinated by furry videos on YouTube, and I just thought I’d see what the furry community is like in this fine state.
For my whole life, I have been fascinated by anthropomorphic animals and I thought why not join a forum like this where I can share my love of them with others.
I don’t have a fursuit myself, but as mentioned just earlier, I love anything having to do with anthropomorphic animals! Just after I registered, I’ve been looking through some of the events coming up, and perhaps I might come out to that bi-weekly meetup 2 weeks from this Saturday that you have at that Perkins in Hopkins and meet some of you fine furries.
Hello and welcome! Hope to see ya around perhaps at the meet and some such. The Perkins event is mostly social with some artists and gamers about. Pretty normal, mundane stuff overall, but it’s relaxing. Otherwise there’s plenty of other events and such being hosted, so perhaps see you at some of them. =)Hey there, the name’s LGslam. Welcome to the community. It’s nice to meet you. *extend paw out*Hello and good welcome!Hello Dan and welcome to the MNFurs community!~ Drake M.

Hello Dan, and welcome to the gang!Life is amusing, though we are losing, drowned in tears of awe. — Kerry Livgren
Welcome to the group! If you are looking to learn more and meet some of the local furries, the biweekly furmeets offer a laid back way to do it. As Innouva said about, they are pretty relaxed and usually anywhere from 30 to 100 people attend (yes, it really does fluctuate that much depending on the weekend). Many times there are too many of us for our main venue and the artists and gamers predominately populate the Perkins, and we spill over to the Caribou coffee across the street. If you are expecting to see fursuits everywhere, you might be disappointed. However, as you probably noticed, we have plenty of costume friendly events as well.Hope to see you around sometime. =)
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! As mentioned earlier, I’m definitely planning on attending that furmeet 2 weeks from today, and hopefully I get to meet some of you and other fine people there! Depending on how busy things are for me down the stretch here, I’ll see what other events work out with my schedule as long as I’m not too busy with college things on the weekend.
Even though I don’t have a fursuit as I said before but have a love for anthropomorphic animals, I’m still proud to call myself a furry! Heck, earlier tonight, I actually ordered myself a little belt clip tail from someone off eBay as well as a furry baseball cap, so hey, it’s a start!
