Is there possibly a Linux operator who knows how to fix the “Emergancy Mode” lock of doom on my Linux Ubantu? I replaced a processor recently and this began making problems from than on

Not sure what a “Emergency Mode” lock of doom is… Never heard of that as a 25+ years of bashing Linux, Sun, and Irix boxes up side their cases for a living. So if you can be a bit more precise. I may be able to give advice.
My gut feeling is you stated “replaced a processor” which either tells me bad processor, not enough cooling, not enough/too much thermo paste, etc…

I’m saying I’m stuck in emergancy mode"You decide the outcome of your success"
Also can’t say I’ve heard of ’emergency mode’ – been working on Linux over 15 years here with several Ubuntu installs. Can you tell us the exact message you see on screen?Welcome to Emergancy mode! Type “systemctl default or systemctl reboot”
I also remember press Ctrl D to start or ^D
I put in my root password and did what it asked, rebooted , put in a new
disc, looked in the motherboard but it might be because it hasn’t confirmed
the new processor as it’s own. It IS compatible"You decide the outcome of your success"
