Hi internet peoples, my Fur name is Jeska and I think I can finally say that I am a furry (closet furry) and that I want to learn more about the community and be more involved and make new friends with similar interests that don’t hate on everything I think is interesting.

So yeah, I am quite new to the furry fandom , having just tonight finally found myself comfortable in saying that I am/ I want to be a furry, and also worked up the courage to write this message. I’m also in College right now, struggling through it at the moment but that’s to be expected.
I can’t draw but I love anthro/furry art and I want to be able to make my own. In fact I’m so bad at art that I’m taking a Drawing class next semester – hooray for acceptance!
Also, I play lots of video games, and being the shy, extrovert-wanna-be that I am, I did a fair bit of creeping (I’m so ashamed) on the forums and saw that many other furries in here play video games – you can see where this is going.
Anyways, I really want to make it out to one of your meetings, meet you all and learn more about the community, see if this is somewhere I can belong (maybe even make it out to a fur-con one day :O )

Hi there Jeska, it’s nice to meet you.  The name is Drake!

I am glad to see that you have decided to join our community.  Next weekend we have a bi-weekly meet so it will be cool if you can make it out.  I suggest that you mingle, say hi to people, and eventually you will find a group…MNFurs is a very accepting community all in all, so it should not be a problem.

You mentioned that you like to draw and there are is a fair amount of artists here as well.  Many are always nice to offer advice on their art, style, etc.

If you have any questions, you can post in your thread or PM one of us.  I am part of the MNFurs staff so feel free.

Thanks Drake,  Zepaw and SkiSharp for the warm welcome! My schedule is a bit of a mess but I’m pretty sure I can make it to the meet at Perkins, I’m already super excited! Although, MOCC is also that weekend so I might be a bit late…
I live in Stillwater and I actually go to Century College in White Bear Lake/Mahtomedi, whichever it is actually classified under. Since I am in college though I work mostly during the weekends, but hopefully I can make it to a good number of meetings.

Hm… well, of those I have GW2 and Terraria, though I have yet to actually play the latter. xD

Oh poopie… Well it seems that I’m going to be busy at MOCC all this weekend so I can’t make the meet Would it be alright if I attend the forum meet tonight instead or would that be a bad idea as my first meeting?

You’re more than welcome to join tonight but realize its less social than the typical meets. Most of it is spent on discussion of events past and future. Its a great chance to get involved in the group on a deeper level and see how it all runs.

Month late to this party. But hello! =3. Welcome to the community.

You will notice that slipping into our crowd is a warm fuzzy situation that has lots of acceptance and hugs.

I’m also a gamer fur! =3. I’m a veteran of Terreria and minecraft (played them before they were cool) And i have civ 4 but i’m not very good at it. I also am a classic gamer. (play a lot of old PC games)

Because i’m so slow we may have already met! =o. if not , see you soon!

Sorry for the complete disappearance, life kinda got a little hectic.
I’m getting my car fixed next after a number of incidents, but I plan to FINALLY make it out to the meet on the 21st!
