Hello there I been like the furry fandom about 5 year and like last week I got starter look more in to it and how find this site.  I shy nervous wreck kind person afraid to go anywhere out of my hometown but I Force myself  to sign up on this website and other one I will be attending to my first furry convention

I hope to see you at one of our ongoing bi-weekly meets or an upcoming event.  I know what it’s like to venture outside a comfort zone (ex. your hometown).  I was in the same position back in 2012 when I use to live in my hometown and I ventured to the cities…However, I am so glad that I made the move.

Anywho, I hope to see you around sometime and I am part of the MNFurs staff so you are always welcome to ask any questions that come up or just need someone to talk to.

Welcome to the community, Bruce!  I actually just got into the fandom, so while I had no idea initially in terms of meeting other furs, I did see that there are those bi-weekly furmeets that they have at Perkins in Hopkins (as well as the Caribou Coffee across the street from it). I’m going to my first one of those next week Saturday, and I’m excited to meet some fellow furs from around here. Since I just got into the fandom as I mentioned before, I don’t currently have the means to afford a full or partial fursuit, but for now I ordered myself a good looking cheap tail as well as some furry related hat to get my feet wet with the furry fandom. So if you come out to this meet or any other event, be sure to look for someone with a gray tail and a white and blue hat that says furry on it.
