hello!

i’m terra, an artist who’s been in the fandom quietly for many years, but i’ve never really reached out locally due to anxiety, insecurities, etc…

i actually just moved from richmond, VA to Eagan this past december and am really hoping to make friends here. i heard from an acquaintance at work that there were fur meetups in the area so i decided to do a little research and found this site! i’m pretty reclusive irl, and i’ve never done this sort of thing before, but i’ve decided to go for it and see what happens.

Hello Terra and welcome to MNFurs!

I hope your move to Eagan went smoothly and that you are settling in.  I definitely know what it feels like to be to have anxiety and unsure in that situation…When I first moved to the cities back in 2012 and discovered MNFurs, it was exciting and I knew I needed to get out of my own shell.  My first event I attended was one of the picnics and I was a nervous wreck.  I eventually loosened up and started talking to some people and I was welcomed with many positive outcomes.  My hopes is that you have the same experience and make some good friends.  🙂

The regional fur meets are a good place to start to be around other fellow furs and meet-n-greet.  We also have scheduled events as well as other fun gatherings hosted by other community members as well as myself.

Your artwork is amazing! For some reason I’m not watching you on FA, which I should fix. I’ve seen your art before though – I fell in love with Undertale last year and you have some really great fan art.

I dabble in traditional and digital artwork, myself, though mostly I make fursuits.
