Howdy every fur out there! Redflare’s the name, though you can call me Red.
I just moved up to Minnesota from Texas back in February, and stumbled across this site while looking for ways to make new furry friends up in my new state.
A little about myself:
I’m a 27 year old Computer Science graduate with a certification in Programming. I moved up north for career opportunities, but you’re not here to listen to my resume! I’ve been in the Furry Fandom since I was 16, experimenting with the furry muck known as Furcadia, and moving on to Second Life back in 2006. I still frequent SL every so often, but it’s hard with focusing on my new retro gaming hobby.
I could go into detail with my hobby, but that’s for another time. I’m looking to make new furred friends while making this new state home, so don’t hesitate to stop by and say hello!
Howdy Red and welcome to the northern hemisphere. The name is Drake and it’s nice to meet you! *Paw shake*Congratulations on being a graduate in your field. I graduated back in 2008 and have been running my own help desk since then.
I was a closet furry for many years before moving to the cities back in 2012. Then I discovered MNFurs and my journey unfurled from there. 🙂
I hope to see you at our future events and our bi-weekly meets. Feel free to hit me up sometime if you are looking for someone to talk to!

Hey there, I’m a software developer too!! I just moved here a few years ago for the same reason. Cool to see someone else doing the same ^_^ What kind of retro games do you like to play? I’ve been trying to beat all of the old Megaman games, so I am super curious. Nice to meet you!I play pretty much any retro nintendo game you can think of! I actally found Megaman 3 (my favorite of the original NES series of the genre) for a steal at a flea market, the day I was moving up here! Do you collect and play too? I’m actually on a collection hiatus, selling and refurbishing old consoles as a means to save up for my fursuit. ^_^Ohh, that is SO awesome!! Yes, Megaman 3 is cool, I really like the Gemini stage a lot, all those flashy lights and popping bubbles to shoot fishies for billions of drops!!Sadly I don’t have much of a retro collection aside from my Sega Genesis from when I was a kid and a bunch of games for that. I have some 90s RPGs and Squaresoft stuff – dunno if that counts, but I guess it’s becoming more and more “retro” as time goes on, right? ^^; So the bottom line is that I mostly use emulators… *shame*
You know what, I actually have two old NESes that I was thinking about refurbishing, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to learning how to do it. I would be happy to part with one of them for free if you were interested. XD
I’ve been singing the Gemini Man and Shadow Man song in my head all day, thanks to you!I’d be more than happy to walk you through a refurbish session, in return for one of them!
…..Wait….
What’s the catch? >:3
YOU HAVE TO BE MY FRIEND(muahahahahaaaa)*Gasp*Nnnnnnoooooooooo!!!
Hope you had fun at fursuit bowling…I believe we may have run into each other, but I cannot remember. I was busy running around playing host amongst other things. 🙂Hope to talk to you again at some point and get to know you more.
Hosting fursuit mini golf next month so keep an eye out!
