    Hey,

    Gamer Hype Mode On

If you don’t know – Humble Bundle is a way to “Pay What You Want” and choose who gets the money.  Be it charity, be it the devs, or the people who run humble bundle.  They usually have tiers and the more you pay well the more you get.  So you can pay $1, $12, or even $1,000 depending how and if you want to help.

If you didn’t notice Humble Bundle has a new bundle for Telltale Games. This is pretty much almost every “modern” game they have made. The low level tier has The Walking Dead season 1 through Back to the Future. The second tier has again some great games with the highlights of Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Amoung Us. While top has The Walking Dead Season 2 and bah Game of Throns who ever like that series 😉

But seriously why I bring it up is the Sam & Max in tier 1 is one of 3 excellent games based around the famous Sam & Max comic (wish could do as a GOH 🙂 ).    The Tier 2 has the more modern game “The Wolf Among Us” just a fun romp based around the Fable Comics where you control the Sheriff Bigby (AKA Big Bad Wolf).   Overall a lot of fun in this pack.

If you even want to try the Telltale games this is a cheap way to do it.

Seriously the older games do show some age for controls but Back to the Future and Sam and Max that are included are more polished but still showing that older style play.  They changed their style with the Walking Dead and newer games making them more “cinematic/choose your own adventure” with more “choice”

But hey it has Poker with Ash and Brock Samson with Glados dealing can’t go wrong :).

And if you want since it’s Humble Bundle you can put all the money to go to charity or the developer.  It’s a good way to help a cause and get games.

I’m not a big fanboy of Telltale Games, but I might check this out.  Their games have been a hit or a miss for me.  However I do enjoy the Sam and Max games and that Puzzle Agent seems…interesting.

Poker Night was fun, but I already wasted a lot of hours on it the just to collect the items for TF2. (I’m really bad at poker)
