Yeah wow… ._. Lots went on. I’m hoping that we won’t have too many more of these storms going on.
A long time ago, my parents were watching a movie at home and had the speakers up very loud. I was in the basement playing on my PC when I saw the brightest flash I’ve ever seen from a basement window. I went upstairs to investigate, and I watched out of a window (from afar) and saw an awesome lightning display. Anyways, since I was in a different room than my parents, I heard a harmony of sirens starting to sound just in the distance. My parents did not hear the sirens and I had to scream at them, “SIREN! SIRRRRENNNN!!!”
If I didn’t have a very distinct interest in thunderstorms in general, it could’ve ended up as a tragedy. .-.
Either way, I’m just concerned for my fellow furries! 🙂 I’m glad you all are ok!
Luckily these days most if not all cell phones are capable of receiving emergency notifications baked in, no app necessary."The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."

The storm wasn’t too bad for us. I was at work and ended up staying late to wait until it was safer to drive. We’ll have even more branches for the big bonfire at my pool party. >^.^<I was down town in a star Buck’s when the storm came the some windows got busted in as I was talking to my case wokersIt really depends what area. I mean in my area there is little or no effect of the storm. 10 miles away the flooding is amazing. Yeah, I’m ok. Before the storm hit my place, our light were flickering. Then when the storm hit, all of our power went out. It stayed that way until midnight. Other than that, and a large branch fell down futher down the street, I was fine.Got some rain and a little thunder here. Most of it went South of me. -
