I’m currently in the process of leaving the Health East Switchboard in St Paul (Snelling and University), and I wanted to alert anyone who may be looking for a job or a better job that my position is now open. It’s a pretty simple job, answer calls, take Hospice messages, but you have to have good wits about you (figuring out where to send people is sometimes tricky), and a strong heart (sometimes people die while you’re making a code call or are dealing with a death over the phone). It paid me $14, but I did have experience going in. Weekends only (16 hours), but lots of chances to pick up extra shifts.
