Job opportunity in Rochester

Uh..!  Hey all, title is pretty self explanatory.

I’ve got a job opportunity that would be awesome for me in the Rochester area.  I’ve never moved across country as an adult, and it is very nerve-wracking to me.  Haha.

I’d be moving from the DFW area of Texas, with hope of finally escaping, but I’d have no support system or real knowledge of the area.  I was born in the Smokey Mountains along the East coast and was a family transplant along the South. 🙁

I’d really appreciate any advice especially on living areas, gear and good credit unions.
If you know of a place I could crash in an emergency, that would also be much appreciated.
