i thought of that too, but i don’t think the sand there would be good for suitersThe building and the park area back from the beach a ways aren’t sandy, as a note, and the field’s fairly large with quite a bit to do.
Personally I’m not a fan of Adventure Zone, and think there are far better locations to have an event like this during the summer in Duluth. Chester Bowl Park, Canal Park, Brighton Beach, Park Point, and Leif Erikson Park probably being the top spots I can think of.
Edit to add: Here’s a Google Maps view of Park Point in satellite view, for reference.

Maybe we should change it up every year, like have it at a different park each time and see what worksPark point is a big grassy area were the is a beach to the lake. Also there is canape buildings that are also able to rent out.The big building would just be more convenient to store some stuff. And easy access the the lake. With a changing room/bathroom inside. And I believe there is a kitchen section also.
Just throwing ideas out there.
There is also one near canal park that also has a huge canape building that also has power. and surrounded by grass. Block or two away from all the Canal park stores and parking.
