Awwwwww yiiiisssssThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get into a more professional mascot gig. Just remember though… you’re working on their terms, wearing their costume that they will provide (meaning it may not be a perfect fit), and you might be in suit for hours while performing and being high energy. If you lack stamina (I see a lot of people in our group who take their heads off after 20 min because they got too warm) you may not want to apply no matter how good this gig sounds. But if you can handle hours on end of being warm and possibly a bit uncomfortable (again, their suit may not fit perfectly) then go for it. Sadly I’m too tall for such a thing and have no idea what their costume would be. XD Also, saying you’re a furry to them may not be the best idea if you’re even thinking it. It’s a job, so have some tact. You can always mention you do some freelance mascot work for charity or some such though. That ‘might’ help.im 5’1″ but i could really use the money TwTthat’s more than i made last week at work :V
Looking at the ad – Being part of an advertising firm going to be a little bit grewling. So this is a little bit harder performance type work. As @innouva said this is going to be a stamina thing more than anything else that’s why the $$$$$ (other than it’s not full time).I used to do suiting for orgs/company when growing up pretty used to this it can be rewarding but it usually is work.
