It has not been mentioned many times so a reminder that any attending in person are provided 1 volunteer hour credit. Your ideas and opinions are vital and we want as much input and member involvement as possible. Everyone is always welcome to these gatherings to come and discuss.

                15-20 people that showed up
                No technical difficulties
               

Mankato Meet (Cyrus)
                Cyrus coordinated with a friend in Mankato
                Jake’s Steak and Pizza?
                Private back area for socializing
                Might do again in the future
                5 people (including coordinator)
                Successful event

Golden Valley (Friday, August 3rd?)
                10-12 people showed up
                Old style booths and tables
                Stayed until 10:30pm
                No problems
                Busy Saturdays, open Fridays?

Fursuit Romp (August 24th)
                French regional park
                Cut short, issues with kids
                Went to a place for dinner afterwards
                Bystander parents were a bit concerned with the fursuiters; staff asked participants to leave
                Nothing was formally reserved (requires downpayment for reservation)
                Should follow up with staff of how to avoid issues in the future

                Recommended to register early, so that planning the groups is easier

Midwest Furfest?
                Need about 12 people from 8 am to Sunday morning?
                                Shifts of 2-3 hours
                                For serving food, clearing tables, garbage
                Need people to help back-of-house as well (Saturday or Friday)
                                Hours goes towards voting power of MN Furs
                                Con hours are earned as well (for Furfest?)
