MNFurs Community Forum Meeting 2-7-13

The MNFurs Community Forum (formally known as “The Community Group”), is a recurring monthly event where people from the broader MNFurs community can:

  -step up and help out the organization in a greater capacity

  -learn more about what is going on

  -offer ideas, concerns, and questions to further our dialogue with our community

 

If you have an event coming up that you are running and that has been submitted using the Event Submission Tab, we invite you to attend our meeting and talk about your event and get ideas and feedback from your peers.

At our February Meeting we will be discussing, among other things, electing a head and co-head for the Event Liaisons staff position.  We currently have Yarrick and Drake who were running this position before and now during the process of drafting a staff document – now that the document is finished we will need to vote on whether or not to keep them in the position and if any other nominations are present.  We will also be discussing the, by then, finalized Volunteers Department Charter.  Many more topics and events will be discussed, but those are the major issues.

Not sure if it was announced after the meeting…Do we know where next month’s community meeting will be held at?  If not, I can always work with Yarrick to get a location stamped.
