This is the first of 3 job positions we will be posting about.  The others should be popping up in the coming days.

    ——————

We are looking for a self motivated individual with good communication skills to head up the newly established Research Division.  Experience with spreadsheet software is a plus.  Below are some of the main responsibilities of this group that you would be tasked with managing:

    • The Research Division conducts the MNFurs census (an important tool for finding out where folks are from and what they are interested in), and organizing that data.
    • Responsible for Sign-in Forms at Minnesota Furs events, and for organizing the data and providing copies for the Secretary.
    • Researches new events and venues; both independently and as directed by the Board and the Event Management Division.
    • Coordinates with the Board, Event Management and the Volunteer Division as necessary.

This division is part of the Community Group, and once per month meets with the group as a whole and a representative from the Minnesota Furs Board.  Aside from this once a month meeting, the Research Division is also capable of holding their own meetings as needed.

    —————————-

So that is what we are looking for!  We will be posting job ads for the other division leads very shortly.  Stay tuned!

And if you are interested in this job, either respond to this post, contact the Board at [email protected], or attend the next Community Group Meeting on November 7th.
