MNFurs Presents- Holiday Photo Shoot

Join the MNFurs Photography Club for a Holiday Photoshoot. Come and get your Studio photos of your Fursuit or even just yourself with Holiday Themed props. This photo shoot is FREE and is a great chance to get photos for Holiday Cards or other festive uses.

Date: Sunday December 13th
Time: 5pm-7:30pm
Location: Como Dockside – 1360 Lexington Pkwy N, St Paul, MN 55117
Food: Food Available at the Como Dockside restaurant for purchase. NO Outside Food or Beverages allowed
Cost: FREE
RSVP: REQUIRED
Fursuit Friendly?: Yes! Full and Partial suits encouraged for the photography shoot
Notes: Our room is in the lower level of the facility. There are restrooms on the lower level as well- please use these or a corner of the studio room to change in.

I am asking that anyone interested in getting their photo taken or being a photographer RSVP. We only have the room for a few hours and while we hope to have multiple photographers to speed things up those who RSVPed in advance will have priority on getting their photos taken.

Hmm that would be a tight fit for my schedule.  I work until 5 pm and would then have to retrieve my fursuit and get to the event.  Sadly I think I’ll have to pass.

Important note: For those coming to the Photoshoot tomorrow the room we are in is DOWNSTAIRS. There is an elevator you take down, then go through a door which we will ask to have opened. Go down to the end of the hall and take a left. I’ll try and print off some signs and see if the Venue will be ok putting them on the walls downstairs.

There are two sets of Bathrooms in the basement, one that is right next to the room we will be using for the shoot. I am going to try and have the ones right next to the Studio room unlocked.

My friend Sun Suki will be there to take some pictures for people. Sadly I will not be there. So I’m RSVPing for him.

People are welcome watch and take their own photos however we will ask that you stay out of our Studio photographers (Kehmet, GoldenEuro, Makalu and Yarrick)’s way when they are shooting. Also we are going to be using flash strobes and the lighting in the room will be very dim otherwise… so pictures taken with a point and shoot camera or cell phone may not turn out the best.

We will have a quick turnaround for these photos, likely 1-2 days when they are posted up on our respective Flickr sites (we will reply here) and about a week before they are posted on the main gallery here.

For all those who showed up – thank you. We’ll have the photos posted individually soon and collectively to MNFurs within a week or so.

To the Photographers and people who helped us setup and tear down. Thank you. This would have been very hard to do if not impossible without your help.

For those who missed the event and wanted to come but were unable to for various reasons, we will be doing another shoot like this sometime in 2016. I will keep people posted of the dates when it’s decided upon.

I do not know my work schedule as of yet, but am awaiting the delivery of my digital 3D camera in three days.  I also have an analog one.  Fur suits in 3D, video and stills!
