Hello,
Minnesota Furs is working with Geek Partnership with their pride parade. For those that don’t know Pride Parade is a big thing and it’s only a LGBT thing it’s for the whole Minnesota community. So it’s for everyone… well to be part of the parade….. everyone that have a parade permit can be part of it…
Pride Parade is in the morning of Sunday, June 24 rain or shine or boiling hot. Since we parenting with GPS on this we have a very limited amount of furs that can be part of this celebration on Minnesota community.
If you want to walk the 1-2 miles parade route please contact directly @kiguel or you can contact me for additional details if you are interested in being part of the parade.

What can be so dangerous in a world where so many people are smiling?

I already have 6 fursuiters that have directly contacted me. Our available spots are filling fast! Wow!Gonna disagree that Pride and the parade are “not a LGBT thing” (it’s not to say that LGBTQ folks can’t participate, but denying the history and meaning of the things event isn’t great imo.)Will be at Pride with some non-furries friends, but hope to see you in the parade!!

Not going disagree at all on that. It wasn’t intended to take away from the importance of the whole weekend it’s more a wording in marketing to say while the history started from LBGT and that it is LGBT still important. The big thing is this for everyone to get together to celebrate our diverse world, and that we are all part of a community together.

I have done Gay Pride over the years and have done the parade multiple times including a few for MNFurs and GPS. Every time I have done it has been a wonderful experience. While if we have space or needed for logistics I am want to go in a heart beat I personally rather have new people in the community experience walking the parade. It’s a wonderful experience to see so many diverse people having fun and not thinking about who everyone is but thinking together as a family.
Let’s have fun!
