As you might of noticed over the last few months MNFurs website has been updated with some enhancements and new features One of the big new features is groups.
What is groups?
Groups are ways for people to better organize and share ideas, conversation, images, and files on the MNFurs website. It’s design to help facilitate communication between people over topics like gaming, writing, or discussing about regional events.
Each group has it’s own activity stream, forum, member list and media sharing features. With that people can easier discuss, collaborate, and create in one area that is easy to find and keep track of.
To participate in a group you must first join the group. After a person has join a group they are listed in that group’s membership and can access all the resources of the group.
To see the groups we have on the site visit the group list under the Community dropdown menu.
This feature is in beta and it’s future will be on how our local community use it. If it’s popular it will grow and more features may be added. But first it’s important to see if and how people use it. If it’s not being use there is no point keeping it.
