I was wondering if I could bring music to the picnic. I recently purchased a speaker for my iPod.
The music I want to play is upbeat electronic music with a sprinkling of rock, hip hop, dubstep and electro-swing.
I don’t know if there are official rules on the book but preferably not. With how many people are gathered there you are going to be subjecting up to dozens at a time to listen to your music whether they want to hear it or not. You’re making it sound more like TORTURE, but okay. I’ll just leave the speaker at home. You’re making it sound more like TORTURE, but okay. I’ll just leave the speaker at home.
I know that park has some serious sound ordinances too. So it is easier to leave them at home :).

Don’t know off hand, would have to look that up as I still have that park’s information printed and saved. The two in charge of the picnic can confirm this though…~ Drake M.T H € B | Z F [] X

Speaking as one of the hosts for the picnic – aside from ordinances, there’s two practical limitations – the first is that there are limited outlets available, and those need to be claimed for things like crockpots and the like. The second is that at this park, if the weather is anything less than sunny and stellar, there is no real ‘sheltered area’ for equipment like that. So yeah, best to leave it at home! Sorry! -
