I’m terrible at these things…mainly because I’m shy and worry too much…but if you wonna be involved I guess you gotta involve yourself. I’m Autumn and I’ve always kinda been in the shadows of the furdom….but now I’m trying to get myself out there more. I joined this particular site cause all my furry friends live in different states and it’d be nice having at least a couple somewhat near me, I don’t know. I would like to try going to some of the meets… but school’s usually got me on a tight schedule, but I’ll try, I promise. So yeah…let’s be friends and do furry things, I will tryyy to be social…but no guarantees.

Also my fursona is a stupid, floppy-eared, white with gray spots bunny named Mauve… but don’t be shocked if I change her… my mind changes like the seasons…. but I’m trying to keep her. Also I’m working on getting a partial made of her by the end of next summer… that’d be nice.

Hey there Autumn, it’s nice to meet you.  Name is Drake!  *Paw shake*

As Zepaw stated, there is no worries as being shy can be normal in a new environment.  Also, as Kurst stated, have fun at the end of the day.

It will be fun to see you sometime at any upcoming bi-weekly meets.

Got some friendly advice if/when you decide to come to one of the meets.  First thing I suggest you do is find a place to sit and observe.  Get comfortable that these are people just like you with a lot of the same interests…One of those being furry.  Once you have come to terms with that, say hello to one or two people, introduce yourself, and see if you can get a small conversation going…Granted, it will be tough at first because some may not accept you, but that’s part of the journey of overcoming.  Staying quiet all of the time will make others unsure of you and they will stay distant so make yourself known.
