    Good morning fuzzies!

I’m looking at setting up a movie night for some great NASA inspired movies.  The current list is:

    1. Gravity
    2. The Martian (when it comes out)
    3. Invader Zim Battle of the Planets (Matt Damon buffer)
    4. Interstellar

Stand up and be counted, all ye who show interest!  Waiting on a release date for The Martian before I can start looking at a date but I’m guessing between November and December.  Suggestions?  Thoughts?  Random tangents?  Random tan gents?

    Oh also Space Cowboys.

I’d do one new film (The Martian good for this) one fairly recent movies both Interstellar and Gravity fit this (personally I’d prefer Interstellar as I heard Gravity is pretty much just a bunch of scenes with people flailing around in space and getting hit by space debris…)

And one Classic (all three movies I listed are space classics. Armageddon being the most reckonizable Apollo 13 the most “historically accurate” Space Cowboys is a little moe obscure but still a decent flick)

    This sounds like fun!

No idea when The Martian comes out for purchase.  I checked bluray.com and no release date information there yet and elsewhere from random searches.

Another good space movie is called Sunshine (Danny Boyle).  When you read on what it’s about it may sound plain, but it’s intriguing with character development, scenarios, & how scenes are put together and shot.

I know other movies in theaters already have release dates like Crimson Peak and others…I am going to take a shot in the dark and guess that will come out either after the holidays or around New Years.  Who knows though!

Whenever you decide to host this, I look forward to hearing about it!  🙂

Space Cowboys is definitely a good one. Apollo also good though I was going for fantasy but it could work. l want to have a look at Europa Report too maybe. I have The Martian pre ordered and it should be this year but no solid date yet. I’ll look into Sunshine too.
