Well, there’s not much to say about me, I don’t have many friends anymore and I’m really eager and quite frankly desperate to make new ones. This seems like a good shot in this group because I’ve lived in the state my whole life and have been a furry about half of it. I well and truly hope I can find a score of friends in this community I found on FA a few years ago. I don’t do much other than work right now, I am a veteran (not of any wars, thank whatever Gods may be.) but just the service in general. I am single, if that matters, I very much enjoy medieval paraphernalia and themes. I don’t smoke and rarely drink, I love to hang out with people but I’m incredibly shy at first, even typing that was difficult. I plan on attending college sooner or later but I’m not currently. Erm, I can’t really think of anything else at the moment, so Hi! I’m Ethan!

Hello there.  All I can say is to show up at one of the bi-weekly meets (not one this week due to Furry Migration, if you’re going) if you want to meet some folks.  Usually lots of folks gaming at Perkins if you’re into various card and board games. Anyway, welcome and all that.

This is a very welcoming community, I joined just last July, and I’m certain you’ll be able to find plenty of people with the same interests and hobbies as you. In fact, you already have 😉 I too have an interest in medieval paraphernalia, as well as history in general. Not to mention, I’m shy as can be in real life.

 

So, may I ask what part of Minnesota you’re from? I’m from southern MN myself; a short ways from Le Sueur 🙂

Southern dead center, Minneapolis right next to Brooklyn Center and New Hope. Never met another furry in person before as far as I can remember, unless you count bronies, then I’ve met several.

As Innouva mentioned, checking out a bi-weekly meet is definitely a great way to get to know the locals, as is visiting the chatroom and forums here.

If you’re free this weekend, I hope you’ll check out Furry Migration! I know going to a con can be a big step if you’ve never been to a furry gathering before, but it’s an awesome opportunity right in your own back yard :3

I’m unfortunately working quite a bit this weekend, so I’ll probably end up asking for the next bi weekly meeting off so I can get into the pool, so to speak. I’m excited, if a bit scared to meet people I’ve never seen before.
