Hi everyone! Call me either Flan or Flanders. I finally made an account on here and can’t wait to meet locals soon!!

My partner and I will be relocating from the south to the Minneapolis area sometime between September and November of this year and I’m wondering what places would be good for me to work at within the area. I’ll be graduating with a graphic design degree in August and have a pretty solid resume/portfolio to back it up. To others with similar experience: where did you start out and did you find the workload to be manageable in between going to furry conventions? Asking because my second source of income comes from selling in the Artist Alley at cons.

Any comments on what else I could do to prepare for this move would be greatly appreciated—thanks!

Hey! That’s pretty exciting. Hopefully it will be a good move when you get here. I can’t say I can exactly help with your questions about job outlook, though it might be also useful popping the question in the discord? It’s definitely a bit more active than the forums. I only found this quick while RSVPing for an event, and saw nobody has messaged yet 😄.

Metro Transit is a great resource if you’re in the cities. Its our transit in the area and its not bad.
