I was thinking about doing a “Meet Your Maker” panel at FM. Owners of suits from different makers would bring their suits so people can look at and examine them in person and do a Q&A with the owner to find out any pros/cons/issues with the suit and maker before they go spend thousands of dollars on a suit.
If you would be interested in being part of the panel, feel free to comment below as well.

I have heard similar panels but this one I would also recommend finding people who had suit(s) made from multiple people to give it some organization and more context.
Again it’s a good idea and I have seen this work with other cons in the past.

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteIs this something where we might want to contact our artists to make sure they’d be okay with us showing our suits as an example of their work? For instance, my suit has some custom options on it that Komickrazi doesn’t normally do (the facial expression, the eyes, even the long hair was kind of out of the ordinary) and isn’t really representative of their usual style."The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."

It less about style and more about the construction, performance (vision, heat/cooling, etc. ) and overall experience with your suit and maker. If you’re concerned I’d talk to your maker.
