This is going to be sounding like an ad but hey I like pinball.
As people know me, I’m a big fan of Pinball both physical and virtual. While I don’t have a physical pinball table right now (various maintenance and physical space reasons) I usually try to hit the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas any time I go there. I sometimes go out of the way to play physical pinball. But also I am a fan of pinball on video games and computers since I first played Pinball Construction set umm years ago….. Right now for commercial virtual pinball I have been a fan of Farsight and Zen Studios games…. Especially Pinball FX2 VR for obvious reasons….
But Farsight Pinball Arcade always been a favorite. It may not be perfect but they do some fun Pinball games with it. They have gotten some of the most iconic pinball game licenses from the 80s and 90s including one my favorite Black Knight 2000.
Well because of license issues they are losing 61 tables (Arstechnia article) with no idea if someone else will be able to emulate them. If you are a fan of pinball or just curious most of them can be played in a trial play mode on PC, PS4, XBOX, iOS, Android and more.
For me as a developer it’s insane to think about that all of those tables all that work won’t be available to be purchased again.
And yes before you ask… There are furry/mascott/monster pinball tables in the set. and yup those are going away…
But seriously it’s going to be weird not to be able to recommend that game to people so they can get the Addam’s Family.
If you are curious you can find the official statement on their site at https://www.pinballarcade.com/News/.
Keep on playing!

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteOh no! This is a bummer. I don’t play that game, but I have a few friends that do. I thought about getting into it. Williams and Bally have most of my favorite machines. For me, the physical machines are the way to go!Yo! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Physical machines are the best TBH. I just don’t have the room.
But now that is past June 30th…. Boy I could tell they rushed the patch to get the games off the list. It is a mess, going to be a few weeks before they get it straighten out.
