I know it is coming up soonish that next month is the local Ren Fest for MN and Tek has posted he would like people to come out on the date he mentioned.
I am going to do something similar but not to attend a specific event going on at the ren fare, mine is an open invite to come suit and be silly with the population of the MN Renaissance Festival, for those who wish to suit you would have to change into and out of suit at your own vehicles as there would be no place to do so inside the event and for the suiters a few things that changed since my first year suiting, you must have a valid ID on you while you are in suit such as a license or such, also you must be willing to remove your head if any of the staff request you to do so (This has never happened in the 4 years I have been suiting this so no worry really) and someone from the entertainment division of the event will come out and approve your suit for wearing in the grounds, I have not heard of anyone being turned away so far thus I doubt this will be a problem either.
The date I am looking to have people show up is Sept 28th the very last day of the event when they have all the “Loose cannon” shows meaning pretty much the performers can do virtually anything and not really have to worry about getting in trouble, I go for the 45 min vilification tennis match around the noon hour personally. 🙂
I was wondering who all might be interested in coming out, you are responsible for your own entry tickets and anything inside that you wish to do for food. This is a come and go as you please event as there is nothing saying you have to show up or leave at a set time, I know I will be there for the opening ceremony and don’t know how long i will stay after vilification tennis is over, will depend on what people (If anyone shows up) may want to do. 🙂
