I really ought to get out of the house more, especially now that it’s summer.
Anyone in the MSP or suburbs area able to recommend any good places to go out and do things? Preferably nothing too expensive.
I do frequently go to MoA/Southdale, the Science Museum, Minnehaha Falls and a few bars in Uptown, so I’m looking for other places to check out along similar lines. Tourist traps, parks, museums, breweries, things like that.

If you’re into pinball, there is a fantastic place on E 26th St. in Minneapolis called TILT Pinball Bar. They have about 20 machines that are super fun and very affordable (25 or 50 cents per game)! They also have a bar and delicious hot dogs. I absolutely love this place. Here’s a link to their website:Yo! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
If you’re looking for something inexpensive to see and do, there’s the Como Zoo and Conservatory that has free admission all year round (though a small donation is suggested).I just like to walk around in st paul- the capitol and the cathedral are open for visitors and are both free. They both have really cool art/architecture so its fun to just look around- specially now they finished the refurbishing at the capitol. oh, and fun fact- the public restrooms at the capitol are wired for sound straight to the senate floor so you can use the restroom without missing the debates. Don’t those politicians ever take a break?any of the zoos are good, Lake Harriet Bandshell has Music in the Park, I’ve played there a few times with a community band. here’s link: https://www.minneapolisparks.org/activities__events/music__movies/music_in_the_parks/ I know Lake Como also has the same things all the time. you can also get some Twins tickets pretty cheep sometimes and go with some friends or family if they’re here also. there are a lot of things you can do around here, sometimes you just need to look around or google it. Yes, definitely. I’m a nerd for pinball. I only wish I’d have learned of this place sooner.

Pretty sure every furry in the Metro has done that at least once ha. Don’t blame you for suggesting it though.
