Summer Meetup Help Anyone?

So I have been thinking of making a small meetup near my home due to the fact that most events I dont have transportation to yet my friends and I would still like to meet everyone. Thus, I was thinking of getting together local furs near Farmington (or anywhere else as long as they are willing to come). I would need help on figuring out food and everything in that category. The park it would be held at would be Rambling River Park, and I would need to contact the park higher ups to reserve space at the picnic tables. Again, this isnt fully planned and there is no garentee it’ll happen but I’d think it would be fun to get together and get to know eachother. Well the daywalkers in charge will probably be alright with it, seems like if you get most of the legwork done with the park officials you should be golden.

Your event idea sounds fun and as stated above, we are here to help.  With it being the time of season that it is everyone is always looking for something to do outdoors.  Farmington is only 10-15 minutes away from me as I am from the Lakeville area.  🙂

I had relatives who owned a farm on the East side many years ago, so I am rather familiar with the area.  Well, that and the county fair grounds is there as well .  I know of the park on the West side of town.  Nice bike/walk paths and couple of ball fields as well.

So, the big question being: when are you thinking of having this event?

I am not quite sure yet of when to have the event but maybe sometime in July, maybe more at the end of July since it’ll take a long time to plan and such. Then again i’ll need to talk to reserve the area and when no one has reserved it. Im not sure how much money thats gonna cost either and if I have enough.

It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I might be able to attend! Will fursuits be needed?

Be careful of other ‘events’ that occur around that time.  Specifically in this case, the Dakota County Fair.  Which will be the second week of August this year.
