Small correction for Werecamp. It will be March 8-11, 2019.I had such an amazing time at the picnic yesterday. It was the first meet I’ve been to, and now I can’t wait for the next one! I honestly didn’t want it to end. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!- OTTO
I kinda wish I could have made it to the picnic, but I had a lot of other plans this weekend. However, after looking at the schedule, I was wondering what Werecamp is? Is there a link for more information?Made lots of new friends and had a blast at my first Picnic ^^ you guys rock!~Rivet Ringtail Tanuki~
I had such a wondeful time at the picnic! I was afraid that I wouldn’t have anyone to hang out with, but I quickly made friends! I am super excited to go to more events now!~ YellowEars
I was only able to attend for a couple of hours before I had to leave for my friend’s wedding, but in that time it was very amazing to see all the people who came out for it and everyone having fun as a community.Huge thanks to my fellow board member, Kiguel, for organizing this years Spring Picnic. I would also like to thank everyone else who volunteered, brought food to share, donated to MNFurs, or just showed up and was a part of it all.
For the teens and parents in attendance, we hope that you found the list of upcoming youth events. We are going to be doing several events over the course of the Summer that are specifically for the youth and their parents in our community. Thanks to Ridayah for spearheading the program! More information will be posted on our website in the near future.

No link yet. There’s something in the works, but I’m not sure when I’m going to have it ready. In the meantime a very quick description.
We have the Group Center in Whitewater State Park reserved, which is a collection of cabins and a mess hall. All the amenities of home, minus the cell phone reception. There’s stuff to do both inside and outside and food is provided. Kind of a three day picnic. We have a werewolf theme because we’re “getting back to nature.” It’s also an 18+ event for the time being.

The picnic was great! Wish I talked to some more new people but so bad at first conversations lolI’m glad I was able to make it! This was the first meet I was able to make in suit, and it was really fun. Also, there was a point where I climbed a tree in suit. I saw someone video taping it, but I didn’t know who it was. I’d love it if anyone could point me towards them so I could get a copy of the video. Here’s a picture I found of me for reference to what my suit looks like.

That sounds amazing! Consider me interested. Thanks for the intel.

Nova sent me a short video clip of you in the tree. Hit me up on Telegram and I’ll send it to you. =3
Hey, sorry for being late to the response party here, but I just wanted to say that I had a whole lot of fun taking photos of you all, going on that little ‘nature walk’, making jokes, and meeting new friends! I wound up with ~200 photos I think are worth keeping, which is great. It’s not often I can make it to these meet-ups due to how far away I live from the Twin Cities area, but I was sure glad I came to the picnic.
If anyone is interested in the photos I took and wants me to send the ones I took of them, especially any fursuiters (which is what I spent the majority of the 7.5hrs I was running around taking photos of), or any of the runners/coordinators of MNfurs would like to use any of them for anything, please let me know! All I ask is that I’m given credit for the photography and a link to my FA and Discord.
I look forward to being at the Romp on the 9th, and other larger events. It was fantastic meeting so many great new people!
