– THE CURRENT ~ OVAL FUR MEETS –

 

Hello there, your Events fox here and I want to talk about the current situation on the Oval fur meets.

The Oval opens up again on June 8, which is next Monday.  Currently they are only allowing groups of 10 people or less.  I have a contact with the Oval that I work with in scheduling our Oval fur meets and past events like our Holiday Party.  I plan to have an email out on Monday to see if they have any updates to their guidelines and then I can plan accordingly from there.  As it currently stands, this month’s Oval fur meet is on the calendar for June 14.  I will have an update next week on whether or not it needs to be cancelled.

From Roseville’s site:

RENTAL FACILITIES

• All recreational facilities including the Roseville Skating Center, Harriet Alexander Nature Center, Cedarholm Community Building, Park Buildings and Picnic Shelters will be unavailable for rentals until further notice, at least through July 4.

ROSEVILLE SKATING CENTER

• The Roseville Skating Center is anticipating reopening in mid-June with modified operations.  View http://www.skatetheoval.com for updates.

• The skate park at the OVAL will be closed until further notice.

Lot’s of ways to interpret that, but I don’t think the rental facilities fall under the modified operations umbrella. I defer to your contact though of course.

One thing that can be marked as cancelled for sure though is Convergence. That has been cancelled for a week now.
