Challenge Background
Once upon a time there was a furry community called SNC Furs: the “Saturday Night Club”. The goal was a bi-weekly furmeet where all the furries in the area could meet under one roof to make new friends, meet up with old friends, and in general just have a really great time. SNC found a place that fit all of it’s membership, that had affordable food, and that had staff who enjoyed the group’s patronage.
That place was Perkins and that group would become the Minnesota Furs organization that you know today. We started with a dozen furries and have become hundreds. Our furmeets now stretch from Perkins to Caribou and expand to several other venues as the night goes on.
The Challenge
Find us a new home and get us all under one roof.
The Rules
A venue must be within the 694/494 loop. We can’t stray too far outside of it.
It must be affordable.
Extra points for accessibility.
And that’s it! If you guys have any nominations for places we should consider, let us know below! And don’t worry! The Perkins isn’t going anywhere! But if there’s a bigger place more suitable for our group, we want to know about it!
