Who’s interested in checking out The LEGO Movie this Saturday afternoon before the meet?

Where: AMC Southdale 16 (Edina, MN)
When: 2:40pm (2D)

Update: Alright! Let’s plan for 2:40pm. If you’re interested in food beforehand we’ll probably be arriving between 1-1:15 to check out the food court, and then after the movie we can head to the biweekly.

Also: I’m told that it’s worth seeing in 3D – can we get a consensus on this? That will impact our choice of times.

the movie was just fine in 2D I saw it on opening day since I wasn’t working.  🙂 was worth the $6 I paid for the ticket.

A surprisingly very good movie, with awesome cameos from some high level actors, and complete with a song you will love or hate but either way won’t be able to get out of your head. XD

Feb 15th is the next Perkins meet. It all depends on what time this is with and who I may be transporting ride share wise to the meet on that day. Might be tight, I’d like to but we’ll see….

I’m interested as well and the 3-d or 2-d sounds ok either way. Its an hour and a half drive to the meet already, so might as well spend a good amount of time down there.

Good question. The showtimes have been posted, and the only 3D time listed is 12:10, which is pretty early.

There are 1:40, 2:40, and 3:30PM times for the 2D showing – any preferences? I’m leaning toward the later ones, personally.

Alternately, there’s a 1:40 3D showing at Eden Prairie which would also work.

My thoughts lead me to think Eden Prairie.  It has relevant times for both 2D (2:10) and 3D (1:40) for those who wanna reach Perkins by/before the meet.  I’m a fan of 1:40 3D myself.

Am considering it myself being as I usually ride along with Yarrick anyway. I’d be more than fine with a 2d showing (the novelty of 3d has long worn off for me.. it’s nice at times, but meh.).. a showing at 1-ish or whatever would be fine with me too. definitely let me know. This movie has intrigued me being as I tend to like most of the games Lego has put out recently. XD

Any of those times but the 3:30. 3:30 would be pushing it for those who like to get to the meet a little early so they can get food/coffee before either venue becomes packed with people…

I just got warned of an employee meeting at 2:00 I guess some drama came up in the bar. Not sure if I can get out of it being I’m only the IT, but it does say no exceptions so assume I’ll just see y’all at Perkins.
