I am still somewhat new to the fandom, but I get the impression that most furries are into more modern music. I am a big fan of classic rock although the fandom has helped me appreciate more modern songs.
Do I have the wrong impression about the fandom’s typical music tastes?

From what I experience – the fandom does love a variety of music from rock, modern, dub step, home grown, and more dub step. But because a lot of the younger – more active at dance – people usually notice the more dance/dub step style music.
But really just a lot of variety in music this fandom listen to because well we have a large variety of people and taste out there.

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteFrom what I’ve seen, a lot of people are into EDM (Electronic Dance Music). But I think furries listen to a wide variety of things. We’re a very creative bunch, and music happens to be a medium of choice for many artists out there. What classic rock bands do you listen to? I’m always looking for new music if you have any suggestions!
I listen to a variety of classic rock bands. As a start, try bands like The Doors, The Carpenters, Bad Company, Jackson Browne, The Blues Brothers, and Led Zeppelin. Some good individual songs: The House of the Rising Sun by The Animals, No More Lies by Lalo Schifrin, and Hold on, I’m Comin by Sam and Dave.
If you get a chance to listen, let me know what you think. Rock on…

Not just the younger though like EDM, was pretty active in the “rave” scene for two decades (40 this year), not sure if that counts as classic but it sure is getting there. I do like other music but usually out of nostalgia.

Electronic Music - EDM, Industrial, Synth
Nocturnal - You will rarely see me during the day, I work nights
Demi-Sexual - Fun first, flirt later
Foodie - Food Adventures constantly, not a fan of fish thoughHouse, progressive house, Dub-House crossover, Minor Dubstep, Happy Hardcore (very specifically), 8-Bit, 16-Bit, 8 or 16 bit crossover, Drum-step, Chill-Step, Chill house, Chill, Piano, violin, classical in specific settings, Happy EDM, Itro, and on and on and on…I love most songs (in these genres) that don’t have any lyrics. No Lyrics, no one gets offended, no one has to disagree with what a song is saying.
Anyone have a soundcloud?
